Chapter 7: My Dinner Goes Up in Smoke
In chapter 7 Percy has his first meal at Camp Half-Blood and he gets settled into his role at camp. Percy is staying in Cabin Eleven, the Cabin of Hermes. Hermes is the Greek god of messengers, medicine, travelers, merchants, and thieves.

- Who is Luke's father, and how do you think Luke feels about being head counselor of the Hermes Cabin at Camp Half-Blood.
luke is a good counselor because he care's for all the cabin eleven chindren. He's a calm man. His father is Hermes. he doesnt feel happy, or impressed that Hermes is his father. He might have wanted a regular life. He doesnt feel to proud to be head counseler at cabin eleven because Hermes is just a mesenger to the gods.
ReplyDeletePercy’s counselor Luke is tall. Luke has blond hair and the son of Hermes. Luc is 19 years old and the camp leader of cabin 11. I think Luc feels angry to be the head of cabin 11 because it is his fathers cabin. I also think Luc strongly dislikes his father.

He is a great fighter because he knows how to use a sword and he plays “Capture the Flag” with all the other campers. Luke is the head counselor of cabin 11, so I think is feels that he could do anything he wants to do because he is older and like the boss of Cabin 11. Luke could be a popular kid if he stops acting like a jerk. Luke is really cool!
ReplyDeleteI think that Hermes thinks of his cabin being fun and not like dull and not heroic and not like adventure and that is the reverse of every thing I just typed and Luke’s father is Hermes he is one of the gods and he is Luke father and I know that every body knows that I just want them to remember that he is Luke’s father Also I would think that Percy Jackson should know who Hermes is and his god Powers.
ReplyDeleteI think that Percy’s counselor Luke is kind of too nice to Percy because he keeps helping him and giving him different rules instead of telling the truth. He expects Percy to play on his team at capture the flag. When Percy does that Clarisse gets a taste of her own medicine, when he now knows that he’s son of Poseidon. I think Luke’s father is Hermes! Because he is in that cabin and he is the counselor of his father’s cabin. Also he doesn’t like his father because Hermes abandoned him.
ReplyDeletePercy just came to camp half-blood, and is placed in cabin 11. That is the cabin of Hermes, which is also the cabin of the undetermined demigods. Percy doesn’t know who his father is so he really can’t have an actual assigned cabin. He doesn’t have too much baggage either. All he brought was the Minotaur horns that he had pulled off of it.
ReplyDeleteLuke is a counselor at camp half-blood. He is 19 years old with a surfer body, blond hair, and has a long white scar from his eye to his upper lip. He is also in cabin 11, but it’s because he is the son of Hermes. I think that Luke is very happy about being the head counselor of his cabin, because it seems like he is a very controlling guy when it comes to personality.
Percy’s counselor Luke is helpful to Percy because he gives him advice on what to and what not to do when traveling on the quest. He is also helpful because he is training him on how to fight a monster and for Percy not to give up on himself. Luke’s father is Hermes, and I think that he is not to happy of being Hermes son because he has never seen his father and I think he feels upset about it. I believe Luke would never want to hear from his father or even see him because he wants Hermes to feel a shame of himself.

Hermeds is the od that sends messages and travels. Hermdes is really luke's father but luke doesnt get to see him alot.

I think Luke feels about being head counselor of Hermes cabin at camp half–blood. He feels great because he would be working with the staffs in camp half blood.

ReplyDeleteLast Friday we went in a field trip to the movies and we went to go see the movie Percy Jackson and the lighting thief.
ReplyDeleteMy three favorite parts of the movie were when Grover took the car out the hotel and he was driving very fast and he was escaping from the people.
When Percy Jackson was destroying Luke with his Waterpowers finally my third favorite part of the movie is when Percy was at camp half blood and he was playing capture the flag and he was sword fighting with Anna Beth.
The best part of portrayed in the movie was when Mrs.Dodds told Percy to step inside the museum and she got on the table and flew to Percy and attacked him.
The best part of the book was when Percy went in the tunnel of love with Annabeth who was scared of spider and she screamed her head off .

I think that Percy Jackson and Luke is good friend in the begging when percy first went because when percy first got there luke was showing him around and he was getting to know him better and he was showing percy around at camp half blood and percy and luke went to go eat and percy went cherry soda and he said that he wants it blue because his mother sally Jackson liked blue stuff and he turned his drink to blue cherry soda.
I think that luke father is Hermes because in the book he told percy that his father is Hermes and he don’t like him. And I think that look told percy that he is the head counselor of his father because I think that luke is bad just like his father.

Luke is like someone who would try to get on your good side and get to know enough about you. And then he will set you up and trick you into doing his dirty work. But Luke is also a strong warrior and he is a powerful godling. Luke’s father is Hermes. I think luke feels like he should have more power and he should be in more control.

Luke’s father is Hermes he doesn’t feels happy that Herman is his father brcause he doesn’t feel t proud to be head counseled at cabin because the eleven kids because Herman is just a god messenger to the gods. Also Lukes is very smart and I think that Annabeth likes him. Some times Luke can be very rude at times. Percy’s counselor is very nice to him because he gives Percy advice on what she should do and not do when he is traveling on the quest and also Percy’s counselor is the one that helps him train him on how to fight a monster and for Percy not give up on his self.

Luke isn’t proud about Hermes, because he feels that Hermes didn’t love him. Luke also felt that Hermes didn’t care for him, Gods aren’t suppose to talk with their kids, It was a rule made by Zeus because of Poseidon. Poseidon was acting too much of a human, Zeus felt that he was forgetting his duty.

ReplyDeleteMy three favorites parts in the Percy Jackson movie is when Percy and annabeth were fighting and percy got engird and he got a cut and he hard a voice in his head that said water and he went to the water and he put his hand on the water and all his cuts got better, my other favorites part is when percy, Grover, and annabeth went to the museum and the people that works they turned in to the big dragon with fire breath and Percy was really scared, the last part is when percy went to Medusa garden and he got stuck and medusa got her head chop of.
I would say the part that should be in the in the movie would be when Grover was getting carried to the fire pit by the shoes. When Ares was not in the book at all and it was in the book at all.
Now in this paragraph I am going to talk about how the parts in the movie like when the works in the museum turned into a dragon and tried to kill Percy Jackson.
That was every thing that I had to type about like the 3 things I liked in the book and also the parts that

Well Luke is a good counselor. I say this because; Luke takes care of all of Hermes children. Also he cares for Percy like that’s his brother. Luke’s father is Hermes. I think Luke is proud to be a counselor because; he has control of the whole cabin. Then he could show people that he is mature to maybe go on a quest. Then he could should he could be an adult.

Today we are going to be talking about the chapter seven blog. We also are going what chapter seven is about. Hear are some of the things chapter 7 is about. We also are going be talking when Percy first came to camp half blood. Talking that is what we are going to be talking about today.
In this paragraph we are going to be talking about when Percy first coming to camp half blood. When Percy first came to camp half he had to go to a cabin with lots of other people in it because they did not know whom his parent was. He thought Luke was cool. Luke’s father is the messenger god. Luke hated his father. That is what chapter 7 is about.

Luke’s father is Hermes he really doesn’t like his father he feels betrayed and not so good about the fact that Hermes is his father. Also Luke is a very smart boy and I think Anne Beth has a crush on him. Sometimes Luke can be aggressive and little on the edge some times. Percy’s counselor is very nice to him because he gives Percy advice on what she should do and not do when he is traveling on the quest and also Percy’s counselor is the one that helps him train him on how to fight a monster and for Percy not give up on his self. Percy just came to camp half-blood, he is placed in cabin 11. That is the cabin of Hermes, which is also the cabin of the undetermined demigods.
